School History
Our school, previously knows as Hamilton Heights School was founded by a group of parents within the community.
In 2010 the school moved into PS 153 building where we are still co-located with P.S. 153 Adam Clayton Powell We share facilities such as the lunchroom, gymnasium, and play yard.
In June 2021, the school name changed to The William (Bill) Lynch School
In 2022, we gained community school status with Montefiore Mosholu Community Center (MMCC)
Our School Today
P.S. 368 is a community-based (un-zoned) choice school located in Hamilton Heights serving 3K to 5th grade students.
The current school population is 233 students.
On average, there are two classrooms per grade with one class being a general education setting and one class serving as an integrated co-teaching (ICT) setting in grades K to 5. Full-time speech-language therapist, occupational therapist, and physical therapist.
The school is committed to providing students with a top quality progressive academic education, which includes plenty of movement for growing bodies with a full-time dance and Physical Education teacher.
