A great number of attendees gathered at the school for the second Family Workshop of the year on April 13!

At the workshop, families engaged in Math centers/games and were educated on strategies for home use.

Additionally Salvadori, one of our in-school partners, teach science, technology, engineering, arts/architecture, and math (STEAM) to 3K-5 students through a collaborative, hands-on, project-based approach. This year Salvadori ran two hands-on workshops for families. During the first workshop in March, 40 families participated in a design challenge - constructing a makeshift bridge after two bridges collapsed due to flooding!
