Ms. Sujening: Second Grade Library

Libraries provide another space for children to learn and we would like to add extra space for learning. Students will be able to access this space because it will be right in our classroom. Providing our class with books that interest them is another way we plan to promote reading. Easier access to reading, and reading books they choose, create better learners. Also, having more books can help students take books home to read with their families.

Ms. Elyse: Flexible Seating for Diverse ENL Students

These flexible seats will allow all students of varying ages to have ownership over their learning and create a homey feel in our class. By being able to wobble and rock as they learn they will be able to increase oxygen flow to the brain, increase blood flow and increase core strength, all while increasing their ability to focus and learn.
